Abet Laminati breaks ground on a new manufacturing facility in Wisconsin
Abet Laminati has celebrated the groundbreaking of its new manufacturing facility in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin (USA), a strategic investment that strengthens the Group’s manufacturing presence in North America and reinforces its long-term commitment to supporting the market with increased production capacity.
The new facility, spanning approximately 230,000 square feet, is scheduled to become operational in 2027 and will expand production capacity for the North American market. The project is being delivered in partnership with MSI General, the design-build contractor for the development.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Giancesare Drocco, CEO of Abet Laminati, and Sean Gregory, President of Abet Laminati North America, together with members of the local team and project partners.
The new facility represents another important step in Abet Laminati’s international growth strategy and will further strengthen the Group’s manufacturing capabilities in North America, expanding the domestic production already established through the Stratificato QSP and MEG QSP product lines.
Once operational, the Johnson Creek facility will enable Abet Laminati to provide customers with an even higher level of service and a more integrated product offering, while maintaining the high standards of quality, innovation and design that have defined the company for decades. The additional manufacturing capacity will also reinforce design continuity across the Group’s product portfolio, including HPL, Stratificato, MEG and specialty solutions, giving architects and designers greater flexibility to create coordinated projects, from interior applications to exterior façades.
